The automatic die cutting machines AMP PISANI feature the capability of continuous cutting of knitted or fleece tubular fabrics without doing the spreading operations.
The innovative and exclusive cutting system on a contact plate in hardened steel combined with the exclusive movement of the upper cutting plate parallel to the contact plate and the feeding system of the tubular fabrics to the cutting area with a conveyor belt offers the following advantages:
a) Tensionless feeding of the fabric towards the cutting press.
b) Easy and smooth sliding of the fabric on the contact plate.
c) Uniform distribution of the cutting forces on the machine.
Possibility to adjust the top dead center of the machine to use using blades of different thickness and to increase the quantity of tubular fabrics that can be cut at the same time
The exclusive feeding system of the tubes (with or without quarterturn) with new large diameter feeding rollers that lay the fabrics on a conveyor belt with alignment symmetrically to the center or on one side repeats the spreading process with a spreader to get a tension free feeding of the material towards the cutting area.
The machine can also automatically compensate possible differences between the theoric and actual feeding length due to the elasticity of the fabric.
The mechanism of the presser, particularly innovative in the designing solution chosen, is with parallel displacement to the cutting table with shafts on the two sides plus a special frame to equilibrate the cutting forces allows a uniform distribution of the forces on the cutting area and guarantees a very high life of the mechanism without wear.
The upper cutting table of the presser is equipped with a set of electromagnets that clamps the die avoiding movements that can cause damages to the die itself and a special loader allows the operator (one only) to load easily and without efforts the die into the machine.
The position of the fabric to cut is front to the machine in case of cut with quarterturn or on one side (on requests frontal too) in case of cut without quarterturn.
The floating guides are adjustable within a range of about 33 cm (15 inches) and guarantee a perfect symmetrical tube with possibility of adjustment even if it is already in the fabric due to the contemporary symmetrical opening of the upper and lower guide. Special floating guides available on requests.
The center crease can be adjusted for proper alignment by rotating the upper guide.
The unloading of the material (programmable in quantity) is frontal to reduce the displacements of the operator and it permits an easy unloading of the material cut.
The cutting die consists of a stainless steel sheet with a folded blade glued on and it can be easily made with special devices supplied with the machine including a folding and cutting blade toolkit and a magnetic plate to keep in position the blades during the drying of the glue. The adhesive used can dry very quickly (less than 45 min), a drying system is not required and the glue can be easily removed to fix the die or to reuse the metallic shapeholder.
The machine is equipped with a modular software including a complete set of cutting die data storage for each die code with possibility to retrieve the die code and program automatically the machine and a set of printing function for production reports.
Particularly important is the software function "Freeze" that allows the operator to stop the machine at any point during the automatic cycle to compensate for materials defects and to restart the machine easily and quickly from the same point after the defect has been eliminated.
The diagnostic software signals the operator of all the alarms and complete instructions are given about how to restart the machine.
The units are equipped with PLC and all the electronics components are easily available on the market as there are no customized components used.
