The numerically controlled slitting machine for heavy rolls class T/1000E is the most technologically advanced of our production range and features a number of characteristics that make this machine unique in the market.

The maximum roll dimension is diameter 40x220 cm and max roll weight 100 kg, the maximum displacement of the blade carriage from the chuck is 200 cm.

The machine is particularly suitable to cut adhesive tapes, foam materials, coupled fabrics with adhesives, straight and bias fabrics, satin, polyesther, plastic films, non-woven materials, glass fibers, roofing materials, paper with toothed blade and so on

Self teaching functions that allow to store and retrieve from memory all the machine parameters
The machine can read the position of the blade at the beginning of the cutting cycle to show to the operator the cutting optimization by considering as zero point the chuck flange or the blade carriage travel end stop near to the chuck. For example, if the roll is 1590 mm long and the operator wants to cut 80 roll 20 mm width each, the machine suggests to set 19.87 mm to use even the last cut.
Adjustable roll rotation speed and automatic detection of the roll diameter with possibility to cut at constant speed with increasing roll rotation speed as the blade gets closer to the center of the roll.
Numerical control for the cutting movement of the blade to the roll to get a slow initial penetration speed in the material, the cut at the preset speed and a slow down near to the cardboard core
Self centering pneumatic double lock chuck on the cardboard and on the external diameter with possibility to adjust the locking pressure.
Machine can do 3 different cutting cycles: STANDARD CYCLE, STRAIGHT CUT CYCLE to detach the cut rolls with a movement of the blade to the external after the cut and LOCKED BLADE CYCLE with little rotation after each cut and complete sharpening programmable after a preset number of cuts.
Machine totally closed and highly safe for the operator.
The machine is PLC controlled and it is equipped with a complete diagnostic software to inform the operator of any possible alarm and includes instructions to restart the unit.
